The Five-Minute Face, Perfected
Five products, five minutes, and a finish that reads as rested rather than "done". Here's the exact order.
The goal of a five-minute face isn't to look made up. It's to look like the best-rested version of yourself — the one who drank enough water and went to bed on time. That comes down to a few smart choices in the right order.
1. Skin tint, not foundation (90 seconds)
A sheer tint or tinted moisturizer evens things out while letting your skin show through. Warm it between your fingertips and press it into the centre of the face, where redness tends to live. Leave the edges bare.
2. Concealer, only where needed (60 seconds)
A dot at the inner corner of each eye and on any spot that bothers you. Tap it in with a ring finger. Resist the urge to cover everything — a bit of real skin is the whole point.
3. Cream blush (45 seconds)
Smile, dab on the apples of your cheeks and blend upward. It instantly makes the rest of your face look more alive.
4. Brows (45 seconds)
Brush them up with a clear or tinted gel. Brows frame everything; a groomed brow makes bare eyes look intentional.
A five-minute face is about where you put product, not how much.
5. Mascara and balm (60 seconds)
One coat of mascara, wiggled at the root, on upper lashes only. Finish with a tinted lip balm close to your natural lip colour.
